I find that being able to express ourselves safely in the intimacy of romance or friendship involves a lot of things. It means being vulnerable, honest, and open about our emotions, needs, and desires. It means sharing both our fears and our joys. It means showing up without masks, pretenses, or fear of judgment.
But how do you navigate doing all of that, especially when you might already feel drained just trying to keep afloat?
